St. Niphon reveals to us an ancient hierarchy of the Church of Alexandria, previously unknown, who lived in holiness, seeing many divine visions and testifying as a saint in the time of Athanasius the Great. Perhaps his many visions may surprise the "skinny" mind (Gen. 3:21) of our day, as it often shifts from the natural to the supernatural.
This biographical book, in addition to the numerous visions of the saint, also brings us a wonderful bouquet of prayers for special situations.
The faithful and careful reader will easily understand that the whole life of the saint, with strict asceticism and unceasing prayer, has been purified like crystal and like gurgling water.
